AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist II for night shift at its acute care hospital in Daytona Beach, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Initiate, maintain, transport, and monitor mechanical ventilators using conventional and non-conventional modes of ventilation
- Perform airway maintenance including suctioning, extubation, tracheostomy care and change-out, and manual resuscitation
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy procedures, including equipment setup and maintenance
- Obtain, analyze, and report arterial blood gases and co-oximetry findings, performing quality controls as required
- Respond to Code Blue emergencies and deliver CPR per American Heart Association guidelines
- Educate patients on respiratory therapy modalities and precept staff as part of ongoing clinical instruction
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an acute care setting
- Proficiency in advanced ventilator management, esophageal balloon manometry, inhaled nitric oxide application, and end-tidal CO₂ capnography
- Pediatric and neonatal critical care experience and skills
- Competency in non-invasive therapies including high-flow, heliox, and bilevel application

- Pay range: $23.71–$44.09/hour (~$49,316–$91,707 annually)
- $15,000 sign-on bonus (2-year commitment, paid in 4 installments); $5,000 for new graduates
