AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a full-time Weekend MRI Technologist for its hospital campus in Rome, Georgia.
### What you'll do
- Perform MRI exams with accurate patient positioning, appropriate coil placement, and immobilization techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare, administer, and monitor IV contrast material in accordance with established safety protocols.
- Educate patients and family members on MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions prior to each exam.
- Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and conduct routine equipment safety checks.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify appropriate personnel when supplies are low.
### What we're looking for
- Active ARRT registration in MRI (R.T.(MR)(ARRT)) or ARMRIT certification (required).
- BLS/CPR certification (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate degree (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of radiology experience with completion of an MRI training program (preferred).
- Working knowledge of MRI scanners and standard imaging procedures.
- Strong communication and customer service skills across diverse patient populations.
