AdventHealth is hiring a Basic Machine Operator / Radiology Technician at its CentraCare Palm Coast urgent care location in Palm Coast, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and position them for x-rays of specific body parts as ordered by physicians
- Set up and operate radiographic equipment, selecting appropriate ionizing factors for each diagnostic study
- Process film and evaluate images for clarity, retaking as needed to ensure diagnostic quality
- Maintain x-ray film files, patient records, daily logbooks, and monthly reports in an accurate and orderly manner
- Perform quantity and quality control checks to confirm the x-ray unit meets state regulations and company standards
- Stock radiology and medical supplies, rotate film stock, and keep darkroom and x-ray room clean and organized
### What we're looking for
- Basic X-Ray Machine Operator (BMO) certification — required
- Current BLS/CPR certification — required
- High school diploma or equivalent — required; Associate's degree in radiologic technology from an accredited program — preferred
- 1+ year of basic x-ray operator experience — preferred
- Ability to float to other FHMG practices as patient volume or staffing needs require
- Strong English communication skills — reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending

- Hourly pay range: $19.23–$40.09 (annualized ~$39,998–$83,387)
