About this role

AdventHealth Sebring is hiring a full-time Certified Surgical Technician to join the surgical team at its hospital in Sebring, Florida. ### What you'll do - Anticipate surgeon needs and keep the circulating nurse informed throughout each procedure - Assemble all required supplies, equipment, and medications prior to each case - Monitor aseptic technique for the entire surgical team and take immediate corrective action for any breaks - Supervise other healthcare team members in the surgical environment and assist with orientation and training of new personnel - Identify and report environmental concerns to management, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards - Promote a safe environment and respond appropriately in emergency situations ### What we're looking for - Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Technician in Surgery – Certified (NTSC) credential required - Current BLS/CPR certification required - High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical/vocational training preferred - Enrollment in or completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program - 1+ years of surgical technology experience preferred; 2+ years of technical experience a plus - Proficiency in sterile/aseptic technique and knowledge of surgical instrumentation and anatomy ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $20.80–$38.67 ($43,264–$80,433 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Sebring is a faith-based community hospital serving Highlands County, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system.
