A part-time Barista role at AdventHealth Port Charlotte supports café and food service operations within a hospital setting in Port Charlotte, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages and food items to standardized recipes and quality standards
- Set up and maintain café stations, ensuring items are attractively displayed and fully stocked throughout the day
- Operate the cash register to process transactions accurately and follow cash-handling and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all café areas and equipment per health and safety guidelines
- Assist with food prep, dish room operations, and patient meal delivery as needed to support kitchen operations
### What we're looking for
- 1+ year of coffee shop experience (required)
- 2+ years of barista training (preferred)
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including varied shifts
- Food Handler Certificate (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
