About this role

A full-time Med/Tele RN (Day Shift) position is open at AdventHealth Apopka, a faith-based acute care hospital in Apopka, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive physiological, psychological, and sociocultural assessments and develop individualized care plans for med/telemetry patients. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring for adverse reactions and adjusting plans based on patient response. - Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and self-care strategies to support understanding and compliance. - Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. - Respond to code situations promptly, provide stabilizing interventions, and supervise delegated care delivered by team members. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. - Current BLS/CPR certification required. - Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred. - EKG interpretation ability per unit requirements. - Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills with effective written and verbal communication. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being and mental health support. - Pet benefits included. ### About the practice AdventHealth Apopka is part of the AdventHealth system, a nationally recognized faith-based, not-for-profit health network headquartered in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
