About this role
AdventHealth Orlando is hiring a full-time Multi-Specialty Operating Room Specialty Coordinator for day shifts at its Orlando, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Coordinate clinical care across multi-specialty OR cases, serving as a liaison between surgeons, sales consultants, internal customers, and the management team.
- Perform all aspects of clinical patient care including assessments, treatments, and medication administration per policy and procedure.
- Assess, interpret, and report diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition, completing follow-up evaluations as needed.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care interventions and modify care plans accordingly.
- Participate in quality and performance improvement activities using evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- 1–2 years of RN Operating Room experience (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills; ability to function effectively as a team member in a fast-paced OR environment.
