About this role
AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is hiring a full-time Logistics Technician for its EMS fleet operations team in Wesley Chapel, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inspections on ambulance fleet, including cleanliness, stocking, and minor repairs
- Order, receive, and distribute medical supplies and equipment to maintain adequate inventory across all sites
- Monitor spare and turn-key units to ensure no expired date codes on supplies or medications
- Prepare standby units for special events, confirming full equipment and supply compliance
- Provide daily logs on equipment and supply status, coordinating repair updates with the EMS team
- Serve as liaison between EMS crews and support staff to maintain patient and crew safety
### What we're looking for
- Active EMT certification (required)
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (required)
- Commercial Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) certification — can be obtained during orientation
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- EMS transport knowledge and familiarity with emergency medicine terminology, drugs, and equipment
- At least one year of purchasing, receiving, inventory, or warehouse experience (preferred); Microsoft Office Suite proficiency preferred
