About this role

AdventHealth Fish Memorial is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the night shift in Orange City, Florida. ### What you'll do - Oversee nursing staff performance on the Cardiac PCU night shift, providing feedback, conducting appraisals, and implementing improvement plans. - Perform venous access procedures and administer infusion therapy, adjusting care plans based on patient responses. - Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing unit data and implementing strategies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. - Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training and professional development support. - Resolve staff conflicts promptly using mediation techniques to maintain team cohesion. - Ensure unit compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policies to uphold patient safety standards. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - BLS/CPR certification required. - 1+ year of charge nurse or relevant nursing leadership experience preferred. - 1+ year of acute care nursing experience preferred. - Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) or other applicable specialty certification preferred. ### What's included - Hourly pay range of $33.99–$63.22 (approximately $70,699–$131,498 annually). - Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave. - Paid Time Off from Day One. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Fish Memorial is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a mission centered on whole-person care.
