About this role

AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Medical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and lifestyle factors. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care across the unit. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - BLS (CPR) certification required; ACLS certification required. - EKG interpretation skills per unit requirements. - At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills with the ability to use abstract reasoning to assess and revise care plans. ### What's included - Hourly pay range of $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance starting Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Nona is part of a comprehensive regional care network serving the growing Lake Nona community in Orlando, offering emergency services, urgent care, primary care, imaging, orthopedics, sports medicine, and rehabilitation.
