About this role

AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a full-time RN House Supervisor for day shift at its hospital campus in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Round and assess patient care units to evaluate patient conditions, identify staffing needs, and support bedside caregivers. - Advise and direct nursing personnel, respond to Code Blue situations, and manage clinical emergencies across the facility. - Serve as liaison for patient movement and bed assignments, overseeing cost-effective management of staffing, equipment, and supplies. - Represent nursing administration during the shift, authorize consent or treatment during admissions, and serve as incident commander during disaster activations. - Collaborate with hospital leadership during organizational codes, system downtimes, and other significant events. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida. - 2+ years of staff nurse experience (required). - 2+ years of leadership experience as charge nurse, assistant nurse manager, nurse manager, or equivalent (preferred). - Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred. - Current BLS and ACLS certifications. - Strong critical thinking, communication, and clinical leadership skills. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $33.99–$63.22 (approximately $70,699–$131,498 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance starting day one. - Paid time off starting day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Continuing education and career development resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Nona is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network.
