About this role

AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a full-time Rapid Response Registered Nurse for day shifts at its Orlando, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors. - Develop, implement, and regularly revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, treatments, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - BLS (CPR) certification required; ACLS certification required. - 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. - EKG interpretation skills per department requirements. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking abilities with proficiency in abstract clinical reasoning. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (annualized approximately $65,582–$108,659). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being support, and pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Nona operates a comprehensive care network in Orlando, Florida, offering emergency services, urgent care, primary care, imaging, lab, orthopedics, sports medicine, and rehabilitation.
