About this role

AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Rapid Response team at its Orlando, Florida campus on Narcoossee Road. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and lifestyle factors for acutely ill patients - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with standards of care and patient outcomes - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies - Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care - Apply advanced EKG interpretation and critical thinking to assess deteriorating patients and escalate care rapidly ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida — required - Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred - BLS and ACLS certifications required - Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred - Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills - Proficiency navigating Windows-based computer systems and electronic health records ### What's included - Pay range: \$31.53–\$52.24/hr (\$65,582–\$108,659 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Pet benefits, mental health resources, and whole-person well-being programs ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Nona is part of AdventHealth's comprehensive Central Florida network, serving the rapidly growing Lake Nona community with emergency services, urgent care, primary and specialty care, imaging, orthopedics, and rehabilitation.
