About this role

AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for its ICU and PCU units on the night shift in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Supervise nursing staff performance, deliver feedback, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to maintain clinical and professional standards. - Identify training needs, organize educational programs, and mentor staff to support career progression and skill development. - Mediate staff conflicts promptly to sustain a cohesive and positive unit environment. - Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing unit data and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency. - Communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, whole-person care. - Oversee unit business operations including financial practices and productivity management. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required). - Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred. - BLS and ACLS certifications required. - 1+ year of charge nurse or relevant nursing leadership experience (preferred). - 1+ year of acute care nursing experience (preferred). - Proficiency with Electronic Health Record systems and strong written and verbal communication skills. ### What's included - Pay range: $33.99–$63.22/hour ($70,699–$131,498 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one and four weeks of fully paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Nona is part of a comprehensive community care network in Orlando, FL, offering emergency services, urgent care, medical specialties, imaging, orthopedics, and rehabilitation.
