About this role
AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a part-time Rapid Response Registered Nurse for day shifts at its Orlando, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments evaluating physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and lifestyle factors for acutely ill patients.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and hospital standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care across the care continuum.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient information, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills with ability to apply abstract reasoning in dynamic clinical situations.

- Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized).
