About this role

AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a part-time Rapid Response Registered Nurse for day shifts at its Orlando, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments evaluating physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and lifestyle factors for acutely ill patients. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and hospital standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care across the care continuum. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient information, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required. - Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. - Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills with ability to apply abstract reasoning in dynamic clinical situations. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being programs, and pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Nona is part of AdventHealth's comprehensive network of care serving the growing Lake Nona community in Orlando, Florida, offering emergency services, urgent care, primary care, lab, imaging, orthopedics, sports medicine, and rehabilitation.
