About this role
AdventHealth Lake Nona is hiring a part-time night-shift Rapid Response Registered Nurse at its hospital campus in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and lifestyle factors for each patient.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care across the care continuum.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- EKG interpretation capability per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and abstract clinical reasoning skills.
