About this role
AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a full-time float pool RN for night shifts (7p–7a) at its Celebration, Florida hospital campus.
### What you'll do
- Float across Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings on a rotating night schedule with weekend rotation required.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and regularly revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care across units.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in PCU or ICU clinical environments.
- Ability to meet physical requirements outlined in AdventHealth's work requirements grid.
