About this role
AdventHealth Murray is hiring a full-time Emergency Department RN for weekend evenings (Friday–Sunday, 3pm–3am) at its Chatsworth, Georgia campus.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including history, vital signs, and physical exams across all age groups and populations served.
- Develop and implement individualized, SMART-goal-based care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer oral, IV, and IM medications and perform procedures including wound care, catheterization, and IV therapy per policy.
- Document assessments, interventions, care plans, and patient responses accurately and in real time within the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions from admission through discharge.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives to improve patient safety and outcomes.
### What we're looking for
- Active RN license in Georgia (or compact eligibility).
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of hospital or acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and Computerized Physician Order Entry.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated competency in emergency-relevant procedures and age-specific safety practices.
