About this role
AdventHealth Porter is hiring a full-time Med/Surg Registered Nurse for its inpatient unit at 2525 S Downing St, Denver, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual dimensions.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and team communication skills.
- EKG competency per unit-specific requirements.

- Pay range: $34.26–$59.24/hr ($71,261–$123,219 annualized).
