About this role
AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist III for the night shift at its Daytona Beach, Florida hospital.
### What you'll do
- Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation, determining ventilator mode and settings and reassessing the patient-ventilator interface every four hours
- Draw and analyze arterial blood gases, place arterial lines, and adjust respiratory management based on results
- Respond to emergencies by establishing and maintaining airways and performing CPR
- Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostics including cardiac stress testing, pulmonary function testing, holter monitors, ECGs, and EEGs
- Support advanced bronchoscopy procedures including bedside bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, and navigational bronchoscopy
- Serve as a clinical resource and preceptor for staff and students, supervising delivery of cardiopulmonary care
### What we're looking for
- Active State or NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (required)
- Associate degree from an approved respiratory therapy program (required)
- 3+ years of hospital experience as an RRT in an acute care environment (required)
- Demonstrated expertise in blood gas laboratory management (required)
- Competency in patient care across all age populations — neonatal through geriatric (required)
- Preferred skills in intubation, ventilator management, and arterial line placement across all populations

- Hourly pay range: $26.08–$48.50 (annualized ~$54,246–$100,880)
