About this role

AdventHealth Porter seeks a Consumer Experience Specialist 1 (PRN/day shift) to support patient scheduling and access services at its Denver, Colorado facility. ### What you'll do - Resolve consumer inquiries accurately and promptly, documenting all interactions in the relevant technology systems - Follow established workflows, scripting, and department greetings to capture accurate demographics, insurance information, and authorizations - Manage department schedules to maximize resource utilization and prevent scheduling conflicts - Initiate insurance eligibility verification at the time of scheduling to support timely authorization and reimbursement - Research and resolve issues thoroughly, updating consumer records consistently across CRM, telephony, and EHR platforms - Meet individual key performance objectives including quality assurance and productivity targets ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate degree preferred - 1+ year of experience in a call center or customer service environment - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to master multiple platforms including CRM, telephony, and electronic health records - Ability to listen and document notes simultaneously with strong attention to detail - Bilingual in Spanish (preferred); Certified Medical Interpreter (CMI) credential preferred - Medical terminology knowledge preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $19.58–$31.32/hour (~$40,726–$65,146 annualized) - PRN/per-diem schedule with day shifts ### About the practice AdventHealth Porter is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
