Clinical Social Worker Behavioral Health

A Clinical Social Worker is needed at AdventHealth's Me Metroplex Behavioral Center in Killeen, Texas, providing inpatient psychiatric social work services across individual, family, and group settings. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments, including risk evaluations, and establish individualized therapy treatment objectives - Administer individual, family, and group therapy sessions and evaluate patient progress and intervention effectiveness - Develop, implement, and document treatment plans while maintaining records in compliance with confidentiality protocols - Identify and intervene in suspected abuse situations with awareness of age-specific concerns and the involuntary commitment process - Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and contribute clinical input to care planning - Formulate discharge plans in collaboration with the treatment team, patient, and family, ensuring outpatient follow-up is scheduled prior to discharge ### What we're looking for - Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field (required) - Active LCSW or LPC licensure in Texas (required) - BLS/CPR certification (required) - 2+ years of clinical social work experience in a psychiatric hospital setting (preferred) - Experience with individual, group, and family therapy and discharge planning in an acute care psychiatric environment - Knowledge of community resources, NASW cultural competency standards, and psychiatric social work principles and laws ### What's included - Pay range: $26.91–$50.05/hour (~$55,971–$104,104 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Me Metroplex Behavioral Center is an inpatient psychiatric facility located in Killeen, Texas, serving patients across the full continuum of behavioral health care.
