About this role

AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Neuro/Surgical ICU Internship on night shift (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) at its Tampa, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Deliver critical care nursing to neurosurgical ICU patients, applying skills defined by unit competency standards. - Conduct hourly rounding using the AIDET framework to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction. - Incorporate Caring Model behaviors and culturally competent care into daily nursing practice. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient flow and support timely admissions, discharges, and transfers per hospital policy. - Communicate effectively with internal and external customers in person and by phone. - Participate in peer interviewing and peer review processes to support unit quality. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - Critical care skills as defined by unit competency standards (required). - Prior experience in a specialty area (preferred; new graduates eligible for internship track). ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized). - $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. - $10,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one plus 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. ### About the practice AdventHealth Tampa is a faith-based, full-service hospital located at 3100 E.
