Director of Operations Specialty Clinics (Cardiology)

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is hiring a full-time Director of Operations for its Specialty Clinics (Cardiology) at its Shawnee Mission, Kansas campus. ### What you'll do - Oversee daily operations across multiple physician specialty clinics to ensure efficient, compliant service delivery. - Hire, train, and manage office managers and clinic staff to maintain high performance standards. - Monitor and report on key performance indicators, adjusting clinic operations to meet quality and service goals. - Ensure revenue cycle targets are met through active oversight of billing, coding, and financial workflows. - Lead EHR implementation and ongoing use across an ambulatory clinic setting. - Identify and execute process improvement initiatives to enhance clinic efficiency and patient experience. ### What we're looking for - Minimum 2 years of position-related healthcare operations experience. - High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred. - Working knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and compliance standards applicable to physician offices. - Demonstrated expertise in healthcare finance, revenue cycle management, expense management, and budgeting. - Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with physicians and all levels of management. ### What's included - Salary range: $73,701–$137,083 per year. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission rooted in whole-person care.
