About this role

AdventHealth Heart of Florida is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for the Medical-Surgical Orthopedic unit on the night shift at its Davenport, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Perform and oversee venous access procedures and infusion therapy within RN scope of practice, adjusting care plans based on patient response - Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy - Monitor nursing staff performance, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to uphold clinical standards - Lead unit-level quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency - Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training and professional development support - Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and hospital policies to maintain patient safety and service standards ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (required) - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred) - BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred - 1+ year of charge nurse or relevant nursing leadership experience (preferred) - 1+ year of acute care nursing experience (preferred) - Specialty certifications such as CMSRN, CRNI, or VA-BC are a plus ### What's included - Pay range: $32.79–$60.99/hour (~$68,203–$126,859 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave - Career development and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Heart of Florida is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system serving communities across the United States.
