About this role

AdventHealth East Orlando is hiring a per-diem Imaging Registered Nurse (RN) for day shifts at its Orlando, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for imaging patients. - Develop, implement, and regularly revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care. - Fulfill PRN commitment of 2 shifts per week, including rotating weekend shifts, holidays, and hurricane team assignments. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. - Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in an ED or PCU setting. - Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred. - BLS certification required; ACLS also required (both obtainable through RQI during onboarding). - Flexibility to cover rotating weekends, holidays, and emergency staffing needs. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour (~$65,582–$108,659 annualized at 2,080 hours). - PRN schedule with day-shift hours. - Access to RQI certification programs during hire for BLS and ACLS. ### About the practice AdventHealth East Orlando is a full-service acute care hospital located at 7727 Lake Underhill Rd, Orlando, FL 32822, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the United States.
