About this role

AdventHealth Ocoee is hiring a full-time Medical and Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for night and weekend shifts at its emergency and hospital campus in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams — including abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies — per provider orders and department protocols - Acquire and optimize images, waveforms, and Doppler data; complete the sonographer worksheet with accurate findings to support radiologist dictation - Maintain timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems and minimize table turnaround time - Verify patient identity, review clinical history, confirm exam appropriateness, and obtain informed consent prior to each scan - Collaborate with radiologists and care team members to ensure imaging quality and continuity of care - Keep exam rooms stocked, equipment cleaned, and safety checks current; notify leadership when inventory is low ### What we're looking for - Active ARDMS registrations in all three areas: Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics/GYN (OBGYN), and Vascular (RVT) — required at hire - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred - BLS/CPR certification required - 1+ year of position-related sonography experience preferred - Proficiency with PACS applications and basic computer skills including Microsoft Office - Ability to perform procedures independently across all patient age groups, infant through geriatric ### What's included - Pay range: $28.68–$53.35/hour ($59,654–$110,968 annualized) - Sign-on bonus: $7,500 - Relocation bonus: $1,500 - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks 100% paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, nonprofit health system operating more than 50 hospital campuses across the United States.
