About this role
A part-time, day-shift Registered Nurse position in the Clinical Decision Unit at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate care and ensure effective communication.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Kansas licensure or compact eligibility.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- EKG interpretation ability per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and clinical problem-solving skills.
