About this role

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring an Executive Director of Surgical Services to provide senior operational and clinical leadership across all surgical service lines at its Daytona Beach, Florida hospital. ### What you'll do - Ensure compliance with DNV, CMS, OSHA, CDC, and Patient Safety regulations across Surgical Services - Develop and manage Surgical Services objectives, goals, and standardized work instructions, monitoring clinical and operational performance indicators - Lead policy formulation and review clinical policies and procedures using evidence-based practice standards - Provide supervision and guidance to sterile processing departments and maintain safe staffing patterns - Manage data from safety, risk, and quality measurement systems, building dashboards and feedback mechanisms - Act as a change agent by planning, supporting, and communicating organizational change across system and departmental levels ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required - Bachelor of Science in Nursing — required; Master's degree in Business Administration, Nursing, or Health Services Administration — preferred - 5+ years of healthcare leadership experience — required - Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) — preferred - Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with surgeons and multidisciplinary surgical teams - Strong analytical, conflict-resolution, and matrix-management skills ### What's included - Salary range: $120,754 – $224,614 per year - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Daytona Beach is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
