AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist for its surgical services team in Daytona Beach, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Ensure all required supplies, instruments, positioning devices, and equipment are available for assigned CVOR procedures using preference cards.
- Maintain a sterile field for each surgical procedure, applying aseptic technique and verifying sterilization integrity before opening supplies.
- Prepare instruments and equipment for decontamination or terminal sterilization following established protocols.
- Demonstrate competency in routine and specialty instrumentation, room preparation, equipment selection, and patient positioning.
- Participate in training new personnel and attend departmental in-services as required.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all surgical team members and maintain patient confidentiality.
### What we're looking for
- Active certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST via NBSTSA, State CST, or TS-C via NCCT) — one required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, aseptic technique, and fundamental human anatomy.
- Prior CVOR experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary surgical team.
