Radiology Technologist- Practice Based

A Radiology Technologist (Practice-Based) opportunity is available with AdventHealth at the AHMG Primary/Urgent Care clinic in Rockmart, Georgia. ### What you'll do - Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures, including OR and fluoroscopy environments, within scope of practice - Monitor patient condition and ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy during all procedures - Obtain and document patient history and explain imaging procedures prior to each exam - Complete required documentation to support Radiologist review and perform associated clerical duties including scheduling and records management - Maintain infection control standards, proper use of PPE, and a clean, organized imaging room - Operate all radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment in accordance with quality control standards ### What we're looking for - Active ARRT registration in Radiography — RT(R)(ARRT) required - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required - Minimum 2 years of radiology technologist experience - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred - Proficiency with patient positioning and x-ray equipment operation - Strong communication skills with patients, families, and clinical staff ### What's included - Compensation range: $20.60–$38.31/hr (~$42,848–$79,685 annualized) - Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Malpractice and disability coverage included ### About the practice AdventHealth Medical Group operates the Primary/Urgent Care clinic in Rockmart, GA, part of the broader AdventHealth system — a faith-based, nonprofit health network serving communities across multiple states.
