A part-time Radiology Technologist role at AdventHealth's Gordon Urgent Care in Calhoun, Georgia, performing diagnostic imaging in an urgent care setting.
### What you'll do
- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging exams using established protocols on patients of all ages, adapting techniques as needed.
- Position patients and select technical factors to produce images meeting Radiologist standards safely and efficiently.
- Screen patients for contrast allergies and pregnancy status, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and staff.
- Monitor patient condition throughout exams, ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy at all times.
- Obtain and document patient history, explain procedures, and complete records supporting Radiologist review.
- Maintain a clean, organized, properly stocked imaging room in compliance with infection control standards and PPE requirements.
### What we're looking for
- Active ARRT registration in Radiography (RT(R)) required.
- Minimum 2 years of radiology technologist experience required.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency with radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including OR environments.
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary clinical staff.
