Registerd Nurse Critical Care Float FT Nights

AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach is hiring a full-time Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse for night shifts at its 401 Palmetto St campus in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. ### What you'll do - Float across critical care units, providing direct patient care and following hospital policy for admission, discharge, and transfer - Collect comprehensive patient data and contribute to unit-specific process improvement initiatives - Develop, individualize, and prioritize each patient's plan of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team - Implement nursing interventions and physician orders accurately and in a timely manner, considering safety, effectiveness, and cost - Coordinate care through appropriate delegation, conduct hourly rounding, and ensure safe handoff communication and documentation - Educate patients and families based on assessed learning needs and evaluate progress toward expected patient outcomes daily ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred - BLS and ACLS certification required - Minimum 1 year of recent, relevant nursing experience; 2+ years of critical care experience preferred - Proficient clinical and critical thinking skills with strong verbal and written communication in English - Prior experience with electronic medical record systems and EKG interpretation preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $32.76–$57.47/hr ($68,141–$119,538 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission rooted in whole-person care.
