About this role
AdventHealth East Orlando is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the night shift in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for each patient.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies to support compliance and understanding.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and maintain effective communication.
- Respond to code situations promptly, providing stabilizing interventions and maintaining accurate, timely medical record documentation.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- EKG interpretation skills per unit requirements.
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred); $5,000 sign-on bonus for candidates with 1+ year of PCU or ICU experience.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to delegate and supervise team members.

- Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour ($65,582–$108,659 annualized).
