A PRN night-shift Registered Nurse (Medical-Surgical) role at AdventHealth South Overland Park in Overland Park, Kansas.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive physiological, psychological, and sociocultural patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to coordinate care and ensure effective communication.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
- Respond to code situations promptly, providing stabilizing interventions and supervising delegated care tasks.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience (preferred).
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency with EKG interpretation and Microsoft Windows-based clinical systems.

- Hourly pay range of $32.50–$60.45 (approximately $67,600–$125,736 annualized at 2,080 hours).
