RN ICU Medical Seasonal Nights

AdventHealth North Pinellas is hiring a Seasonal Night-Shift ICU RN on a PRN basis at its Tarpon Springs, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on findings and medical diagnoses. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders, maintaining patient safety and protocol adherence. - Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes in a critical care setting. - Perform accurate, timely documentation within the electronic medical record (Cerner/EPIC). - Interpret EKG rhythms and apply advanced critical care skills appropriate to the ICU patient population. - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, comprehensive care. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - BLS/CPR certification (required). - Ability to pass a baseline telemetry/EKG test within 2 attempts within 5 business days of offer acceptance. - 1+ year of experience in a specialty or critical care area (preferred). - Proficiency with electronic medical records; Cerner and/or EPIC experience preferred. ### What's included - Seasonal rate of $55/hr plus shift differentials for nights and weekends. - Minimum guaranteed hours of 36 per week with every-other-weekend commitment. ### About the practice AdventHealth North Pinellas is a faith-based, full-service community hospital located in Tarpon Springs, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest not-for-profit Protestant health systems in the country.
