About this role

AdventHealth North Pinellas is hiring a Seasonal ICU RN for day-shift PRN coverage at its Tarpon Springs, Florida hospital. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized critical care plans based on findings and medical diagnoses. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols. - Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. - Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care across the ICU. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. - Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in real time within the EMR. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - 1+ year of experience in a critical care or specialty nursing area (preferred). - Demonstrated EKG interpretation skills and telemetry competency — must pass baseline telemetry test within 2 attempts and 5 business days of contract start. - Experience with Cerner or EPIC EMR systems preferred. ### What's included - Seasonal rate of $55/hr for contracted hours. - Base pay range of $31.53–$52.24/hr (non-seasonal reference). - Minimum commitment of 36 hours per week, every other weekend. ### About the practice AdventHealth North Pinellas is a faith-based acute care hospital located in Tarpon Springs, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the country.
