About this role

AdventHealth North Pinellas is hiring a full-time Anesthesia Technician I to support anesthesia providers in the operating room at its Tarpon Springs, Florida facility. ### What you'll do - Assist anesthesia providers with patient assessment, monitoring, positioning, IV line insertion, and airway management - Set up the OR for each case, including laryngoscope, intubation equipment, IV solutions, tubing, and warming devices - Procure, assemble, and operate specialized equipment such as fiber optic endoscopes, rapid infusion devices, blood warmers, infusion pumps, and neuromuscular devices - Maintain, troubleshoot, and clean anesthesia equipment; manage supply inventory to ensure stock levels - Assist with schedule preparation for routine, emergent, and urgent surgical procedures requiring anesthesia - Provide peri-operative technical support and assist with patient draping for invasive monitoring procedures ### What we're looking for - Completion of an Anesthesia Technology training program, OR 1+ year of experience as an anesthesia technician - Active BLS/CPR certification (required) - Anesthesia Technician Certification (AT) or Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.A.T.T.) preferred - Working knowledge of aseptic and sterile technique - Ability to monitor dosages and operate clinical equipment appropriately - Strong communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary clinical staff ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hour ($35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off starting Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth North Pinellas is a faith-based, community hospital located in Tarpon Springs, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the United States.
