About this role

AdventHealth Fish Memorial in Orange City, Florida is hiring a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist I to support surgical teams across the operating room. ### What you'll do - Anticipate surgeon needs and keep the circulating nurse informed throughout each procedure - Assemble all required supplies, equipment, and medications prior to each case - Monitor aseptic technique for the entire surgical team and take immediate corrective action for any breaks - Direct ancillary personnel during OR room turnover to maintain safe, efficient turnaround times - Promote a safe environment and respond appropriately in emergency situations to protect patients, visitors, and staff - Participate in performance improvement activities and support departmental quality standards ### What we're looking for - Active State CST, NBSTSA CST, or NCCT TS-C certification (required) - BLS/CPR certification (required) - High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate degree or surgical technology vocational program preferred - Currently enrolled in or graduate of an accredited surgical technology program - 1+ years of relevant surgical technology experience preferred; 2+ years preferred for full proficiency - Solid command of aseptic/sterile technique and surgical instrumentation ### What's included - Compensation range: $21.56–$53.35/hr ($44,845–$110,968 annualized) - Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Fish Memorial is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, nonprofit health network operating more than 50 hospitals across nine states.
