About this role
AdventHealth Littleton is hiring a part-time CVICU CNA / Nursing Unit Secretary for night shifts at its hospital in Littleton, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Prepare rooms for new admissions, set up personal care items and vital sign equipment, and orient patients to the unit.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, respond to call lights, and support safe transfers between beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs.
- Collect and label patient specimens at bedside and route them to the laboratory.
- Document personal care, intake and output, vital signs, and weights accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and unit census; serve as liaison among patients, families, nursing staff, and medical personnel.
- Sustain a clean, comfortable, and safe patient environment through purposeful hourly rounding.
### What we're looking for
- Active CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) or CPCT/A certification — required at hire.
- Current BLS/CPR certification — required.
- High school diploma or equivalent — required.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer applications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills in a fast-paced CVICU environment.
- 1+ year of CNA or patient care experience preferred; Certified Health Unit Coordinator (CHUC) credential a plus.

- Pay range: $19.38–$31.01/hr (approximately $40,310–$64,501 annualized).
