AdventHealth Orlando is hiring a PRN night-shift Emergency Department RN for its Regional Float Pool at its Orlando, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Perform and document initial and ongoing patient assessments; develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications accurately as ordered, monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions as needed.
- Assist physicians with bedside procedures and prepare patients for tests, procedures, and surgeries.
- Monitor lab values for trends and report abnormal results to the care team for timely action.
- Respond to emergencies by providing stabilizing interventions and coordinating with the healthcare team.
- Float to appropriate departments within scope, skills, and credentials as part of the Regional Float Pool.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida RN license (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (all required).
- EKG interpretation competency per unit requirements.
- 1+ year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Proficiency with emergency equipment: IV insertion, central lines, chest tubes, hemodynamic monitoring, and electronic medical records (Pyxis).
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $32.76–$57.47 (annualized approximately $68,141–$119,538 at 2,080 hours).
- PRN/per-diem schedule with night shifts.
