About this role
AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Adult Emergency Department on the day shift (7a–7p, 3×12s) at its 50-bed Level I facility in Celebration, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for ED patients.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care across acute, intermediate, and fast-track treatment areas.
- Float as needed among Celebration ED locations, including Main Campus Pediatrics and three freestanding emergency departments.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license — required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing — preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification — required.
- CCNS (Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist) certification — preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting — preferred.
- Availability for weekend rotation as part of the standard schedule.
### What's included
- Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour (~$65,582–$108,659 annually).
- $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates (applicable experience required; internal candidates and rehires within 12 months not eligible).
