AdventHealth Winter Park is hiring a part-time Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging studies at its hospital campus in Winter Park, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with provider orders and established department protocols. - Acquire and analyze ultrasound images, waveforms, and Doppler data to produce complete studies ready for radiologist interpretation. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems, including completion of the sonographer worksheet. - Position patients accurately, explain procedures clearly, and maintain comfort and privacy throughout each exam. - Collaborate with radiologists and care team members to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of care. - Maintain exam room readiness, perform routine equipment safety checks, and adhere to infection control and PPE standards. ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred. - BLS/CPR certification required. - Demonstrated knowledge of ultrasound physics, cross-sectional and vascular anatomy, and Doppler techniques. - Ability to perform ultrasound procedures independently across all patient age groups (infant through geriatric). - Proficiency with PACS applications and radiology software; basic computer skills including Microsoft Office. - Preferred: 1+ year of position-related experience and familiarity with specialized sonography (Breast, Prostate, OR, Pediatric, Neuro, or Vascular). ### What's included - Pay range: $28.68–$53.35/hour ($59,654–$110,968 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Continuing education and career development resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Winter Park is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network serving patients across multiple states.
