About this role

A full-time day-shift Registered Nurse is needed for the RIO unit at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs in Altamonte Springs, Florida, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors. - Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient information, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. - Minimum 1 year of experience in PCU, PACU, ICU, or Critical Care. - Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required. - Strong organizational, multitasking, and clinical problem-solving skills. - Ability to apply abstract reasoning to assess patients and revise care plans based on outcomes. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour ($65,582–$108,659 annualized). - $15,000 sign-on bonus. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One; 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development and whole-person well-being resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Altamonte Springs is a faith-based, full-service hospital located in Altamonte Springs, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system.
