About this role

AdventHealth South Orlando is hiring a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist for day-shift general OR coverage at its Orlando, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Anticipate the surgeon's needs and keep the circulating nurse informed throughout each procedure - Assemble all necessary supplies, equipment, and medications prior to the start of surgery - Apply sterile and aseptic technique to maintain a safe operative field - Hand surgeons the correct instruments and supplies in real time during procedures - Support cost-containment standards while maintaining quality throughout the surgical suite - Maintain positive working relationships with physicians, staff, and other departments ### What we're looking for - Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) or NTSC certification required - Current BLS/CPR certification required - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical/vocational training preferred - Completion of or current enrollment in an accredited Surgical Technology program - 1+ years of OR scrub experience preferred; 2+ years of technical surgical experience a plus - Solid knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and OR regulatory requirements ### What's included - Pay range: $20.97–$40.09/hr ($43,618–$83,387 annualized) - Sign-on bonus up to $7,500 (12-month contract required; prior experience required) - Relocation assistance up to $3,000 for candidates living 50+ miles from campus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME and career development resources ### About the practice AdventHealth South Orlando is a faith-mission health system campus located at 601 E.
