PRN Respiratory Therapist

AdventHealth Gordon is hiring a PRN Respiratory Therapist for night shifts at its Calhoun, Georgia hospital facility. ### What you'll do - Initiate, maintain, transport, and monitor mechanical ventilators using conventional modes of ventilation per policy - Obtain, analyze, and report arterial blood gas and co-oximetry findings; perform quality controls as needed - Perform airway maintenance including manual resuscitator use, oropharyngeal/nasopharyngeal airway insertion, and suctioning - Respond to Code Blue emergencies, providing CPR per American Heart Association guidelines - Interpret evaluations and test results to determine appropriate treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team - Document and charge for procedures accurately while supporting patient flow across the unit ### What we're looking for - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required - Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science required - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Ability to provide care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations - 1+ year of critical care experience preferred - Compliance with any additional licensure or certification requirements applicable to the specific unit ### What's included - Entry-level pay starting at $31/hour; full pay range $22.66–$42.14/hour (approximately $47,131–$87,651 annualized) - PRN/per-diem scheduling flexibility on night shifts ### About the practice AdventHealth Gordon is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, nonprofit health system with facilities across the United States.
