AdventHealth Riverview is hiring a non-registered CT Technologist for its imaging department in Riverview, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform high-quality CT examinations following provider orders and departmental protocols to ensure optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis
- Position patients accurately and safely, applying ALARA radiation protection principles and using immobilization devices as needed
- Review patient history and clinical information to confirm exam appropriateness and identify contraindications before scanning
- Prepare and administer IV contrast material, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and collaborate with radiologists on continuity of care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems throughout each shift
- Operate CT scanners, injectors, and monitors safely while adhering to infection control standards and approved PPE protocols
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Registered Technologist in Radiography — RT(R)(ARRT) required
- Experience in radiology and completion of a CT training program required
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
- Ability to adapt imaging protocols for patients across all age groups
- Strong attention to workflow efficiency and patient communication throughout the exam process
