A full-time night-shift Registered Nurse is needed for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) — Cardiovascular at AdventHealth Tampa in Tampa, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on cardiovascular health status and care needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders, maintaining patient safety and protocol adherence
- Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies
- Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the EMR
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Florida
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- EKG knowledge appropriate to the cardiovascular patient population
- Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and clinical assessment skills
- Experience in a specialty or critical care setting preferred; familiarity with Cerner or EPIC a plus

- Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour (~$65,582–$108,659 annualized)
