About this role
AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for the Med-Surg Pulmonary unit on a night shift (5×8) schedule in Tampa, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform venous access procedures and administer infusion therapy, adjusting care plans based on individual patient responses.
- Assess patient conditions to select appropriate venous access methods and manage any related complications.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy.
- Monitor nursing staff performance, provide ongoing feedback, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans.
- Mentor and support staff development through targeted training programs and educational initiatives.
- Assist in managing unit-level financial and productivity practices to support efficient healthcare delivery.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum 1 year of charge nurse or nursing leadership experience preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and clinical practice knowledge applicable to a Med-Surg Pulmonary setting.

- Pay range: $33.99–$63.22/hr (~$70,699–$131,498 annualized).
