A full-time Registered Nurse role at AdventHealth Oviedo, serving the Seminole Market on a Day-Weekend shift in Oviedo, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for each patient.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance and recovery.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate care and ensure effective interdisciplinary communication.
- Respond promptly to code situations, providing interventions to stabilize patients and maintain a safe environment.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation per unit requirements.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and abstract-reasoning skills with solid written and verbal communication.
